Alessandro Isidori, MD, PhD is an Hematologist with a strong experience in drug development and clinical trials. He obtained his Degree in Medicine in 1999, his medical license in 2000, his Fellowship in Hematology in 2004 and his PhD in Clinical and Experimental Hematology in 2007. He has been involved as a Principal Investigator, Co-investigator or Study Coordinator in several Phase I-II-III clinical trials performed under GCP-ICH since 2004. He is co-author of 94 full-papers published in International Journals quoted in the Current Contest Index (Total Impact Factor: >500, H index=21). In 49/94 papers he is the first or the last author. He act as a reviewer for several International Journals in the field of Onco-Hematology. His research interests involve new drugs for the treatment of acute myeloid leukemia and B-cell malignancies. He is also very active in the field of stem cell transplantation and immunotherapy. He presented his works several times at the most relevant national and international meetings (ASH, EHA, SIE, SIES). He is an Attending Physician at the Hematology and Stem Cell Transplant Center of the AORMN Hospital (Pesaro, Italy) from 2005, with a high qualification for clinical and preclinical research from 2014.
He is qualified as an Associate Professor of Hematology from October 31st, 2018.
