Professional Memberships and Recognitions • FMH Specialist in Plastic Surgery (Swiss Medical Association) • Honorary Member of the Yugoslav Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery • Member of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery (SBCP) • Ordinary Member of the Italian Society of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery (SICPRE) • Member of the Italian Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (AICPE) • Lifetime Member of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) Born in São Paulo, Brazil, he graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Rome and specialized in Plastic Surgery at the University of Parma. After obtaining his degree, he returned to Brazil, his homeland, where he learned the secrets of aesthetic surgery. As a native Portuguese speaker, he was able to refine his skills under Prof. Ivo Pitanguy and other pioneering Brazilian surgeons who carried on their mentor’s legacy in aesthetic surgery. He was a professor of Aesthetic Surgery in the Advanced Training Courses in Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery at the University of Pavia. For nine years, he was appointed to teach Aesthetic Surgery at the School of Specialization in Plastic Surgery at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome. He worked for ten years in the Plastic Surgery Department of the Vatican’s Bambino Gesù Hospital, first as an Assistant and later as a Deputy Chief Surgeon. He obtained the Italian National Qualification as a Chief of Plastic Surgery. Currently, he is a faculty member at the Second-Level Master’s Program in Facial Aesthetic Surgery at the University of Tor Vergata in Rome and at the Master’s Program in Multi-District Morphofunctional Surgery at the University of Padua, where he teaches Aesthetic Surgery. He is the author of numerous publications in the field of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery. He has participated in numerous congresses and training courses, delivering multiple presentations as a speaker and performing live surgical demonstrations at international courses and congresses. Additionally, he has authored a book for plastic surgeons on nasal surgery.
