Genetics Test — Dog, Cat or Horse

CHF600

Your animal is born with a genetic map that determines disease risk, reproductive value, and biological identity. The Genetics Test reads that map — and integrates the results directly into their Digital Twin. One test. The foundational information that every future health decision should be built on.

Beschreibung

Genetics is not destiny — but it is information. And in veterinary medicine, information you don’t have is the most dangerous kind.

Every dog, cat, and horse carries a genetic profile that reveals predispositions to hereditary diseases, breed-specific health risks, reproductive compatibility, biological identity, and ancestral lineage. This profile exists from birth — and remains constant throughout the animal’s life. A single test, conducted once, produces information that is valid forever.

What the Genetics Test analyses:
· Disease predispositions — breed-specific hereditary conditions that may develop over the animal’s lifetime, identified at the DNA level before any clinical sign is present
· Biological identity — genetic confirmation of breed composition and ancestry, independent of pedigree documentation
· Reproductive value — genetic compatibility markers for breeding decisions, identifying carrier status and risk of hereditary disease transmission
· DNA profile — a unique genetic fingerprint, permanently linked to the animal’s Digital Twin as an irrefutable proof of identity

How the results integrate into the Digital Twin:
Every result is directly loaded into the animal’s Digital Twin profile — creating the genetic baseline against which all future health data is read. A change in a liver enzyme value means something different in a dog with known DM predisposition than in one without it. The genetics test provides the context that makes every subsequent clinical finding more meaningful.

For breeding animals, the genetic profile is also a commercial asset — visible in the Digital Pedigree, demonstrating transparency and responsible breeding practices to buyers, registries, and insurers.

Available for dogs, cats, and horses.
